URA@Hokkaido

URA@Hokkaido is an e-mail mailing list that facilitates information exchange among URAs and others who conduct research administration/support, and those who are interested in such work in Hokkaido.
It's operated by the URA Station of Hokkaido University.
Those who agree with the following terms and conditions can join the mailing list.
Seminars and events hosted by the URA Station are also announced via the list.

  • Then, input your name, mail address, phone, affiliation and job title (mandatory), and
  • your job and what you expect for the URA Station of Hokkaido University (optional).

(Objectives)
The mailing list is organized to facilitate information exchange among URAs and others who conduct research administration/support, and those who are interested in such work in Hokkaido.

(Name)
The name of the mailing list is "URA@Hokkaido."

(Operator)
It's operated by the URA Station of Hokkaido University.

(Member)
Those who agree with the terms and conditions can join the mailing list.
You can withdraw from the mailing list at any time.

(Important)

  • The mailing list aims solely for information provision and exchange.
    It's not a place to post your opinions or to conduct discussions on specific matters. If you wish to do so with the mailing list members, you're expected to do so not on this mailing list but by other means.
  • When you quote or reproduce an article that has been posted on the mailing list, you're expected to cite it properly by indicating the source of the quote.
  • Also, information providers are asked to indicate in the main text as to whether the information can be quoted or reproduced.
  • This mailing list allows members to send e-mails to, and receive e-mails from, each other.
    You're asked to take care not to send unintentional spam mailings, such mails with virus attachments.
  • Slander and defamation are strictly prohibited.
  • Posting information on political and religious activities is also prohibited.
  • In the event that the operator receives a notice of undelivered mail three or more times with regard to e-mails sent to the same member, the member is regarded as having no intention of continuing to be a member, and his/her status as a member may be revoked.
  • In the event that a posted article is considered to violate the terms and conditions, the operator will issue a warning to the poster and may revoke his/her registration and prevent his/her re-registration.
  • The terms and conditions are subject to change.
    Notifications of such changes will be posted on the mailing list.
    The day after such notification, the terms and conditions will change accordingly.
  • URA@Hokkaido may suspend or terminate its operation without notice.
  • You can post information only from the registered e-mail address.

  • The operator will work to facilitate streamlined operation of URA@Hokkaido.
  • The operator is not responsible for the information posted on URA@Hokkaido.

    Change the "(※)" to "@".
  • The maximum size of an e-mail is 5 MB.
  • You can attach files as large as 5 MB.
