Introduction

This workshop is an annual series beginning in 1998 to provide a forum for discussing all important issues in computational sciences including physics, chemistry, biology and materials science. The principal purpose of the workshop is to offer an opportunity for exchanging ideas and enjoying in-depth discussion on both the methodology and its applications. Majority of participants are expected to come from Asian countries, as is expected from the workshop title. Scientists from other regions are very welcome. Everytime three to five leading scientists are invited from USA and Europe.
