Drug Discovery Platform Hub

Drug Discovery Platform Hub

A series of studies conducted at this hub focus on the efficient design and synthesis of low-molecular-weight proteins and post-translationally modified proteins, and on acceleration of the process leading to fast cleaning.

Disease-related Protein Structure Hub

Disease-related Protein Structure Hub

The studies promoted at this hub deal with the construction of a process leading to the discovery of ligands and their functions on the basis of the X-ray crystal structure analysis and NMR analysis, and drug and biomarker discovery based on the analysis of structure-function relationship.

Photon-positron Research Hub

Photon-positron Research Hub

To help establish methods of very early diagnosis and disease-risk estimates for better individual tailoring of medical care, a catalog of molecules (the "Molecule Library") containing a wide variety of data for biomolecules is being developed at this hub. This Molecule Library is to serve as a repository for information on all molecules relevant to biological activity.

Advanced Medical Research Hub

Advanced Medical Research Hub

In cooperation with the Hokkaido University Graduate School of Medicine and Hokkaido University Hospital, which is discovery-oriented, this hub works together with other hubs in promoting various studies, continuing to play an important role in translational research for life science innovation.

Fusional Research

Fusional Research

Studies have been conducted with the aim of creating new global standards for fast and accurate drug discovery technologies by combining personalized medicine utilizing optical metrology with next-generation drug discovery using protein modification technologies, to give top priority to quality-of-life improvements.
